Our Beginning
The Valerie Fund is a not-for-profit organization established in 1976 in memory of nine-year-old Valerie Goldstein by her parents, Ed and Sue.
Our Impact
Families turn to The Valerie Fund because of the unique combination of medical care, counseling, and other services it provides. The Valerie Fund Children's Centers comprise the largest network of healthcare facilities for children with cancer and blood disorders in New Jersey, and one of the largest in the nation. We host over 25,000 patient visits each year.

| Location: | Terra at the Isabel Rose Cafe, 50 South Fullerton Ave. Montclair, NJ |
| Description: | LocaliTEA is a monthly tea hosted by Terra Tea and Fair Trade at the Isabel Rose Cafe, in the Montclair Public Library, for newcomers to the Montclair area. New homeowners and renters and new business folks are invited to come meet people, and learn about our town from people who live and work in the town.
On the second Saturday of every month, residents, business owners and community organizers will be present to share experiences and knowledge about community life, public and private schools, town matters, restaurants, contractors, pet sitting, the list goes on.....get "patched in" through The Montclair Patch, a local community website, on hand to share its wealth of information. And learn more about the numerous programs and activities offered by the Public Library.
We know that folks can find whatever they want on the internet, but it's always nice to meet friendly folks face to face over a cuppa tea!
After public school in Montclair is out, the library has been closed on Saturdays. If that is the case, LocaliTEA will not take place in July and August and will start up again in September.
